FREQUENCY AND FORM OF PUBLICATION:

The annual volume of the electronic journal Museology circulates in two issues, which are published in electronic form on the Internet in March and September of each year.

The languages of the journal are Greek, English, French, German, Italian and Russian. Each article is followed by a summary in English, French or Greek.

The e-journal Museology aims to:

> Offer a forum for exchanging research, views, ideas, theses and concerns.

> Provide an international forum for a dialogue on museum matters and museology.

> Contribute to the construction of a European museological tradition, since it will constitute a European forum for discussion and exchange of views, starting with the many European languages in which it will be published.

> Constitute a meeting point of academic discourse and theory with museum application and practical experience.

> Establish interdisciplinary collaboration, which will lead to more effective museum practice.

> The information and update of researchers, academics, students and museum professionals on international issues and discussions.

> The promotion and discussion of exhibitions, educational programmes, museums, and any original and pioneering work in the field of museums, art spaces, and culture in general.

The content of the e-journal Museology includes articles of Greek and foreign academics and practitioners from the fields of museology, history, social anthropology, natural sciences, technology, education, which express views, concerns, ideas, theses, research results related to the field of museology. All articles are peer reviewed by external reviewers.

We encourage contributions by all those interested in museology and culture in Greece and the rest of the world.
